Enhancements -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- 6. Known Issues -------------------------------------------------------- You can keep up-to-date with the latest version of LogPak by visiting our Update page on the web: http://logpak.com/updates.shtml -------------------------------------------------------- 7. Post-CD Fixes and Enhancements -------------------------------------------------------- 08/14/2006 - Increased speed when posting a log and when adding days off. - Fixed bug in which the log recap display was not navigating to the correct driver. - Fixed bug in which "add next day" needed to be clicked twice (only occurred when "add next day" was clicked with the co-driver field focused). 08/16/2006 The graph was not being saved for logs entered with the old grid control. 08/24/2006 Fixed calculation error that occurred sporadically when there were two drivers with the same ID in different companies. Added tracking of log entry date and ability to print violation reports by entry date. 09/05/2006 Lots of new features: - Click and drag graph entry. Uses the right mouse button by default. You can change this to the left mouse button from Tools | Preferences | Graphics by un-checking "Use right mouse button for click-and-drag on graph". - The entry date of the log is now tracked (only for logs added since the update). You can print any of the violation reports by entry date by checking the "Print by entry date instead of log date" checkbox on the report screen. - You can now double-click the Driver ID/Name label (just under the graph) to go to that driver's record. - Violation and activity entry are now easier and quicker. When you add or edit a log, some new fields will be available under the violation and activity lists. When you click the Add button to the right of these fields, it will add the violation or activity, then take you back to the violation or activity code field to enter another one. If you hit tab (or enter) with the code field blank, it will take you to the next field after the violation or activity fields. - There is a new hint window that will eventually show hints for all of the fields and buttons in LogPak when your mouse moves over the field or button. Select Help | Show Hints Window to see this new window. You can also see the hints as regular Windows popup hints by checking "Show popup hints for entry fields" in Tools | Preferences | Graphics. - Added a "previous driver" button to the toolbar. This takes you to the last log for the previous driver. - You can now see the total time of each duty line on the graph. Turn this option on from Tools | Preferences | Graphics by checking the "Show hours on the graph" checkbox. - Terminated drivers are no longer included in the reminders. Also, no reminder window will pop up if there are no reminders in the range you set. 10/09/2006 - Violation indicators on the graph were not showing up in the correct positions. - Added ability to use kilometers instead of miles. To change to kilometers, go to Tools | Preferences | Other and check the "Use kilometers instead of miles" checkbox. - When using the "add next day" button, the "total miles" field was not visible when there was a co-driver. 10/30/2006 - Added Equipment page, where tractor and trailer information can be entered. The database upgrade will automatically add existing tractors and trailers to the new tables. - Added reminders for tractor and trailer registrations and inspections. Also added a reminder for tractor oil changes. - Rearranged the Preferences screen to accomodate the new options. - Fixed a problem with the workstation install, in which checkboxes were not visible until clicked. 12/11/2006 - Fixed problems with backup and "send data to support". These utilities are now run as separate processes. - The Summary Driver Log Report now includes total hours. 12/19/2006 - Cursor now advances when using the keyboard to enter the graph. 01/10/2007 Increased user limit for 20-driver version from 1 to 5. 02/26/2007 - LogPak will login automatically without prompting the user if there is only one use (MASTER) on file, and that user has no password assigned. - The "Prev Driver" and "Next Driver" buttons on the toolbar now work on the driver screen. - When you switch from the driver screen to the log screen, the program will automatically navigate to the last log of the driver displayed on the driver screen. - Fixed tab order on some of the entry screens. - The data navigators have been revamped to make operation more intuitive. - Deletion of pre-defined violation codes was possible. This has been fixed. - Reminders were not dealing with blank date fields properly. This has been fixed. - New custom date fields have been added to the driver screen. You can set the labels for these fields in Tools | Preferences | Other. You can set reminders for these fields, and print them on the non-date-based driver reports. - Buttons have been added to log reports to automatically fill in the date range with the last six months. - There is a new option to purge all but the last six months of logs on startup (Tools | Preferences | Other). You can be optionally prompted to perform the purge. - Time zone fields have been added to the driver and log files. These are for future development, and can be ignored. - When backing up LogPak data, you can now specify a directory for storing the backup. - A new tool (Tools | Restore Data From Backup) has been added, allowing you to restore a backup you made with the "Backup LogPak data" tool. Use with extreme caution! 03/20/2007 - A ruleset has been added for Oilfield drivers. - The "purge all but last six months" option now checks if there are logs more than six months old before prompting you to purge them. - Minor fixes to the log graph control. 04/17/2007 - Activity codes have a new flag that sets whether an off- duty period associated with the activity on a log will count toward the 15-14 hour violation. 05/20/2007 The driver report can now be printed by termination date. 09/10/2007 Added pending HOS regulation changes - 34 hour reset no longer valid, and 11 hour violation reverts to 10 hours. The effective date of the regulations defaults to 9/14/2007, but can be changed in the preferences. 11/05/2007 Deleting a driver caused logs from drivers with the same ID in a different company to be deleted. Automatic "missing information" violations were being calculated for off-duty days. The new HOS regulation start date was being forced to a value of at least 12/27/2007 01/21/2008 For network users, some settings were being stored separately for each workstation. These settings have been made global. HOS rule effective dates have been removed. 06/10/2008 Fixed a sporadic access violation when viewing logs. 06/26/2008 Added California State ruleset
